FEA Solver
NAGSIM_SM.3D uses an incremental finite element analysis solver that is specifically designed for sheet metal forming processes. The program uses two types of elements , a pressure modified tetra element and a brick element for automatic meshing and analysis. NAGSIM_SM.3D can predict deformation in any three dimensional sheet forming process. However, the solver uses a Rigid-Plastic formulation that does not include elastic deformation of the sheet.






Simulation of ONE OPERATION
NAGSIM_SM.3D simulates one operation at a time. The part geometry can be imported in a STL format or from a previous operation simulation
